Jaunpur Crime: Murder of a young man by slitting his throat with a knife, body thrown on the side of railway track, police reached the spot

A young man who had gone to meet his girlfriend in Misirpur village of UP’s Jaunpur district was strangled to death on Wednesday night. The body was dumped on the railway track in nearby Ramdaspur village. On Thursday morning, the police also recovered a knife from the girlfriend’s house and a bike a little away from the railway track. A case was registered against the girlfriend and her partner in the case.
The dead body of a youth was found on Thursday on the railway track in Ramdaspur village. He was identified as Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Ijri village under Jalalpur police station. Police reached on information. Then the dog squad was called. The dog went towards a man’s house a little far away from the railway track. When the police reached there, there was blood on the verandah. A knife was also recovered from there. Investigation revealed that Sandeep Kumar (30) used to drive the auto. He had a love affair with a married girl resident of Misirpur village working in a private hospital. The girl lives in her maternal home.
On Wednesday night, Sandeep had reached Misirpur village by bike to meet his girlfriend. Sandeep’s mother Kalavati gave Tahrir and told that the girl Sandeep was in love with, she used to demand money from him. The girl also has a partner. Due to non-payment of money, the girl killed Sandeep. SHO Rajaram Dwivedi, CO Kuldeep Gupta, ASP Brijesh Kumar inspected the spot. The forensic team also took samples. Police registered a case against the girlfriend, her partner. The ASP told that the accused are being searched.
